v0.1alpha - The Basic Mechanics


This version is the initial prototype of pig_chi_ken mechanics.

Its just the beginning, it doesn't have any game rules, its just a character and a set of special movements.

There is a chicken. You can fly around with your jetpack in MANY possible ways. Like, many. Try around...

You can use some guns too. Some of them look like musical instruments.

No problem. They sometimes are.

Controllers on this version:

  • X - Run (and makes jetpack faster if you keep it pressed before flying)
  • Y - Dash
  • A - Jump (you can jump 4 times, decreasingly force in each one)
  • B - Defensive Jetpack
  • RT - Jetpack
  • LT - Shoot
  • RB - Change equipment
  • LB - Glide

Some advanced moves:

  • Super Jumps! Hold down + Jump (A) to super jump
  • You can super jump up to 3 times before getting tired and pumping to the floor
  • Fast falling - hold down while in the air to fall faster
  • Of course, you can aim using the RightStick!
  • Hold X to run and fly faster
  • Hold Y to dash and then keep flying slowly
  • Hold B + LeftStick direction to inverse-fly
  • Hold B and then LT + LeftStick direction to super-inverse-fly (it was initially a bug, then I tought it to be a feature :)
  • Hold LT and then LeftStick to slow jetpack speed 
  • Hold LeftStick direction + LT to normal jetpack speed
  • Hold LeftStick direction + X + LT to fast jetpack speed

I would LOVE to get feedback on the controllers and movements.
